Breast Reduction

Breast reduction is an operation where the excess fat and skin are removed from the breasts. The breasts are then reshaped to form smaller breasts, and the nipples are repositioned. Breast reduction can also be used to even up the size of the breasts where one is much larger than the other.

Breast reduction may also done be on males using the same procedure as above.

Your plastic surgeon will examine you and perhaps take photographs for your medical record. You should come to the consultation prepared to discuss your medical history. This will include information about any medical conditions, drug allergies, medical treatments you have received, previous surgeries and medications that you are currently taking. It is important for you to provide complete information.
