Rhinoplasty

A rhinoplasty operation involves our surgeon marking cuts through the nostrils so that visible scarring is avoided wherever possible. Your nose is re-shaped by removing and re-positioning the underlying bone and cartilage. If your nose is very flat, our surgeon may use an implant to build up the size of the nose (this is known as augmentation rhinoplasty). Sometimes the nostrils are also re-shaped to fit with the shape of your new nose.

The operation is done in one of the best private hospitals in Malta.  The surgeons are highly qualified, experienced and have performed surgical interventions in Malta and other European countries.

Your plastic surgeon will examine you and perhaps take photographs for your medical record. You should come to the consultation prepared to discuss your medical history. This will include information about any medical conditions, drug allergies, medical treatments you have received, previous surgeries and medications that you are currently taking. It is important for you to provide complete information.
