Cosmetic Dentistry focuses on giving the mouth and smile a much more appealing look. Technology and materials have improved in line with the recent demand for that perfect smile. Traditional Dentistry maintains oral hygiene and treating oral disease which is its main priority while Cosmetic Dentistry improves the appearance and in some cases, providing restorative care.
Tooth Whitening
Teeth being porous become stained from food and drinks over the years. The main culprits are: red wine, soft drinks, coffee, tea and smoking. Whitening teeth restores them to their youthful look. Two techniques are used:
In-Clinic whitening – The most effective and rapid result is obtained in the clinic by using highly concentrated bleach activated to its maximum effectiveness using UV light. The process takes less than an hour.
Home bleaching - Impressions are taken by the dentist and trays are made to hold the bleach around the teeth. The patient can wear the trays with the bleach at home for their own convenience.
HOME BLEACH TRAYS x2 (upper + lower) - £76.00
BLEACH SYRINGES x9 - £65.00
IN - CLINIC BLEACHING - £312.00
Unsightly fillings
Silver and discoloured white fillings can be replaced with conventional white or ceramic/porcelain materials. We offer same visit ceramic restorations.
Veneers can replace uneven, spaced or chipped teeth with well-aligned, shapely teeth. The ceramic quality of the veneers used provides a brighter, more natural looking white smile. About 0.5mm of enamel is removed and replaced by Porcelain. Dental Veneers solve the following:

Dental Implants
A dental implant is a small, sturdy, titanium post that acts as the root structure would for a natural tooth. A dental implant is placed into your upper or lower jaw bone. After the bone has grown around the implant, implants can hold a crown, bridge or over-denture just like roots hold natural teeth in place. Implants are very durable and can last a lifetime. The biggest advantage is that adjacent teeth are not damaged as they are when being prepared for a conventional bridge.
4 MINI IMPLANTS SUPPORTING REMOVABLE DENTURE - £1500.00
Cerec
Usually a crown takes two visits to be fitted in but Cerec crowns only require one visit. This crown is milled by a computer out of a block of pure ceramic to fit your tooth precisely. There is no need for a follow-up appointment saving time and eliminating troublesome temporary crowns.
This technology can also be used to manufacture porcelain fillings and veneers. Porcelain fillings are more long-lasting than typical white composite fillings. for more information on Cerec click here
